Joe Borovsky is a Senior Research Scientist at SSI, an Adjunct Research Scientist at the University of Michigan, and a Visiting Professor at Lancaster University. He has experience in theoretical, computational, and experimental physics with emphasis on space plasma physics. He was trained in astronomy and mathematics at the University of Michigan and in plasma physics at the University of Iowa. He spent 30 years as a staff member at Los Alamos National Laboratory. His current research interests are (1) the structure of the solar wind and the origins of that structure, (2) solar-wind/magnetosphere coupling, and (3) the dynamics of the magnetosphere. He resides in Los Alamos New Mexico and Canton Michigan.
