Jaime is a physicist by training, with an emphasis in computational space plasma physics. He began at SSI as a researcher studying particle motion in Earth's magnetotail. He is now the Director of Information System and Technology, in addition to being the P.I. or project lead for several education technology projects. He's involved to varying degrees in many of the EPO programs at SSI, including the MarsQuest, Space Weather Outreach, Alien Earths, Giant Worlds, and NASA SMD Broker projects. His undergraduate degree is from Occidental College and his physics PhD is from the University of Maryland.
