At SSI, I work on a team called "CICLOPS" that is responsible for operation of the ISS (Imaging Science Subsystem) instrument aboard NASA's Cassini spacecraft which is exploring the Saturn system. I perform many roles for our team, such as software development, website administration, data archiving, image sequencing coordination, and image processing.
I grew up in Louisiana as a little kid and then in Austin, TX from middle-school through college. I received an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Texas with a focus on Software Engineering, and I've been doing computer programming ever since. I've worked in several different industries including video games, children's educational software, micro-devices, and, of course, space science. They have all been great experiences, and I love where my career has taken me.
