Colin is a research associate within CICLOPS working with Carolyn Porco on analyzing Cassini Saturn ring images, as well as planning for Cassini's extended mission and calibrating the ISS instrument. He is currently determining point spread functions for both of the ISS cameras and using them to deconvolve images of the plumes emanating from the south pole of Enceladus. He is also engaged in the study of the electromagnetic effects in Saturn's rings. In particular, he is studying the Saturn B ring spokes, which were only recently spotted by Cassini, to study their dynamics and link to the planet's magnetic field. Colin received his Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in 1999 and his Doctorate from the University of Colorado in 2006.
