Nicholas G. Heavens

Nicholas G. Heavens studies thoroughly modern Martian weather and climate, the climate of the Late Paleozoic Ice Age, and the atmospheric evolution of the telluric planets. He received an S.B. with Honors in the Geophysical Sciences and Distinction in the College from the University of Chicago in 2005. He received an M.S. in Planetary Science from Caltech in 2007 and a Ph.D. in Planetary Science from Caltech in 2010. From 2010-2012, he was Postdoctoral Associate in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Cornell University. He is currently Research Assistant Professor of Planetary Science at Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia as well as an Affiliate Research Scientist at SSI. He currently resides in London.
